Backstory
Saina Nehwal was the first Indian to reach the number one ranking in world badminton and the first to win an Olympic medal in the sport (bronze at London 2012). She grew up in Hyderabad, trained under Pullela Gopichand, and dominated Asian badminton for a decade. She battled a devastating knee injury and fought her way back. She's outspoken about the politics of Indian sports and doesn't care who she upsets.
