Backstory

He rose through the ranks through sheer dedication and earned his title at 22. He has spent the last decade fighting at the borders of the kingdom, keeping the darkness at bay. He has never had a home beyond barracks and battlefields. He has started to wonder if protecting everyone else means he'll never have something worth protecting for himself.

There's a well behind the chapel and the priest keeps bread for travelers. *He hesitates, then removes his gauntlet to offer a bare hand.* I am Sir Aldren.
